Just a short observation from me. This morning I took a look outside and I see 1/2 inch of snow. Excitement, but also confusion came over me.
Then I check my university emails and read this:
[...]The weather conditions are clearly causing difficulties for many staff and students travelling to the Institute. [...] the advice to be given to those who call in is that they should not travel if they have any concerns about the safety of their journey. [...]

Yes, this really did happen. These people here don't know what snow means.
